Rainfall is one of the major enemies of builders.

So it’s important that you know that if you choose to start your project

during rainy season the completion will take longer.

Rainfall delays project not because we are afraid of the rain but some

of the construction process can not go on during heavy rainfall.

For example – concrete foundations can’t be poured during heavy rainfall

nor can excavation go on without the walls caving in.

Completion time of a building can be immensely affected by the region of country the site is located.

there are many factors attached to the environment, but I will talk about the soil type for example.

House built in swampy area will take longer – about 1 – 2 month longer to complete than

the ones in an area with solid land. This is because the type of foundations that

will be used in different soil type varies in complexity and time as well

8. Availability of Workers and Supplies

Normally, during dry seasons laborers are occupied with jobs

as this season is the busiest time for construction.

This is because people tend to build more during dry seasons than during rainy seasons.

Because of this your project might experience delay because of insufficient workers.
